Heavy Duty Construction. These Barricade Running Boards are manufactured from heavy duty carbon steel plate for superior strength and rigidity. After welding and final assembly Barricade then completes their HD Running Boards in a satin black powder coated finish for excellent durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered their HD Steel Running Boards to be a direct bolt-on upgrade using pre-existing factory mounting points. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward installation. These Barricade Running Boards use a sliding track design that allows you to adjust the position front or rear before tightening them down. Installation can be completed in about two hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a friend.
Application. This set of Barricade HD Steel Running Boards are specifically designed for use on the 2009 to 2014 SuperCab or SuperCrew F-150s, including the FX2, FX4, Harley Davidson, King Ranch, Lariat, Limited, Platinum, SVT Raptor, STX, XL and XLT models.

Build guilty is bar none, very strong boards soild brackets too. Very simple straightforward install, if your truck came with running boards you could use your old bolts just to make install a bit faster but it does come with all bolts washers and lockwasher if you want to install all new hardware.

Pros: These look fantastic. Very solid, look great, I actually installed them without any assistance and a set of socket tools.
Cons: Big con. The driver’s side set isn’t milled evenly right at the center bracket. I’m going to have to use a grinder and cut a 1/8th to 1/4th of an inch off the bolt plate so that it can install correctly. Discovered this once I had cut up the box and had everything installed.
A note about TIME:
There is no was on this earth this install would take an hour, even with two people. You have to remove the old running board, sort through and organize the parts of the new ones, but from there, you still might have 2 hours of an otherwise easy install.
If the estimated time to install and the incorrectly milled bracket bracket the bolt plate go into, weren’t an issue, I’d give the five stars and a way to give it a sixth star. They look great and are super solid. But installing it on my own took the better part of an afternoon.

I bought these to upgrade from the stock board. They are extremely heavy duty and built to last. That being said I live in Illinois and the cheap “powder coating” doesn’t last in this climate. After the first winter I had surface rust. Second winter is coming up and the rust has spread over almost the whole step pad. They put a lot into the building of these but went extremely cheep on the coating.

Stock boards broke on the truck , thought this was a great way to upgrade and they were. Really sturdy not cheap like the oem ones
