Application. The Barricade HD Off-Road Rear Bumper is built to be a direct fit for all 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models. This Rear Bumper is designed to work with models that are equipped with or without rear mounted backup sensors.
I purchased this bumper for my 2016 Silverado. I read all the reviews and noticed i few showed pictures of the powercoat finish fading off and the bumper starting to rust so i went ahead and took mine to my local LINE-X shop and had them put on a premium coat. Looks great and im very happy with it. Btw the license light that came with is crap, it broke while i was trying to install it so i went to Auto Zone and purchased a trailer led license light for $10, it fit perfectly.
I looked for years for the perfect bumpers for my build. I finally came accross the Barricade lineup. Hesitated for awhile, then finally went for it. Glad I did, wished I got them long ago. Very well made, easy to install, fit perfectly. For the silverado it follows the anglular design of the body and looks as if it came from the factory. finish is great, seems durable. Solidly built, very stout. Has nice low profile, but rugged looks. Has corner steps like oem. The new versions have the trailer plug cut out already in the bumper.
So happy with this bumper. Looks sick and is built way heavier than factory! Factory Trailer plug location has been integrated into these bumpers! The install video shows a bracket that hangs to the edit of the hitch. Not anymore! That was a pleasant surprise!! Craftsmanship is definitely good enough to pass an untrained eye. I’m a fabricator, so I see everything. Noticed some uneven spots where they grind their welds down for that seemless look. Nothing that ruins my happiness for this bumper though! It was 10x easier to install the new one than it was to remove the old one. Great design and AAAA++++ packaging and shipping procedures! I can’t wait to hang some pods in the provided locations! You can keep the screen mesh in with the lights installed too! 2 completely different mounting points! That, I didn’t expect and it will look so killer!! Again, I couldn’t be happier with what I got considering the incredibly low cost of this bumper. Everything was so easy about the install, I just couldn’t believe it! Thanks a bunch!!!
