Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered their Extreme HD Front Bumper to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the original stock bumper reusing the factory hardware and mounting points. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward installation. Installation can be completed in about 2 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a friend.

Installed it alone. Took 3 hrs, but that included time trying to make bolts/nuts fit and going to Ace Hardware to buy longer ones. Worked fine after.
The bumper looks great, not too over the top like others. I think it def affords you more protection than the flimsy factory bumper. Intsll was pretty easy, did it myself, and getting it adusted and located perfectly was not very difficult at all. The holes/mounts for the the parking assist sensors? Top notch. Barricade nails it. Go Rhino needs to call the Barricade engineers, like yesterday. Here are my 2 gripes. When you are reinstalling the tow hooks, with the new bracket, your factory long bolts to be resused are now 1/2 inch too short. Plan on buying two new ones before you get started. I wish there was a metal plate to cover that large rectangle hole in the center, if you don’t plan on filling it with a lightbar.
Looks good, built good. The stock bolts were not long enough for the tow hook adapters provides.
I appreciated the simplicity of how this bumper mounted to the frame of the truck, the ends of the bumper line up with the fenders pretty much flush – making it look more OEM. This bumper is heavy (100 lbs) and is very heavy duty, but has a low enough profile that it doesnt stick out like a traditional aftermarket bumper say like a Ranchhand. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that if you have fog lights on your OEM bumper they appear difficult to transfer to the Barricade Extreme HD because of the OEM housing and orientation (vertical vs horizontal for the fog light spots on the Barricade). Another thing I’ll note is that for the extension brackets to mount the tow hooks cannot use the longer bolt and nut but can still be secured with the back bolt that screws threw the new extension bracket.
Overall you and a buddy can knock this out in less than 2 hours. Very sharp looking bumper.
