Description
Safari Styling. Add exciting safari styling to your 2007-2018 JK Wrangler with a set of Barricade Front Extreme HD Adventure Doors. Barricade designed their tubular Adventure Doors to not only look great, but to help increase your field of view, which is a great plus when trying to negotiate tricky terrain. Besides increased visibility, these Tubular Doors will provide a safe open air driving experience that driving without your JK’s doors simply can’t offer.
Heavy Duty Tubular Construction. Barricade Off-Road manufactures their Extreme HD Adventure Doors to precise specifications from 1.25″ diameter tubular steel. The Doors are reinforced with 1/8″ steel plate for superior strength and durability. Barricade then completes their Adventure Doors in a two stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for long lasting corrosion resistance.
Simple Bolt-on Installation. Barricade designed their Extreme HD Adventure Doors to be a simple bolt-on replacement for your factory doors. Remove the nuts on the bottom of the door hinge and lift off your factory doors. Hang your new Adventure Doors in place of the old and secure them with the supplied hardware. Installation should take no longer than an hour to complete.
Application. This pair of Barricade Off-Road Front Extreme HD Adventure Doors are designed for installation on 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models including Unlimited and Rubicon models.

First things first, lots of people complain about fitting these doors and minor rattling. Lets face it, these doors aren’t made to be on a Bently, it’s a jeep, it may be a tad off or make a little noise. In my case I spent just a few minutes adjusting the latches and getting a great fit. They look fantastic and meet the goal of making my more timid passengers feel safe while enjoying the top/doors off feelin.

Last year i bought the rear doors to keep my kids safe. I recently decided to buy the front doors to complete the set and while they look great, the design is flawed for the fit. I’ve adjusted these doors a number of times and while the passenger side has a good fit, both front and back doors on the driver side rattle when hitting bumps. Again, not sure why this is as i’ve adjusted them multiple times.

They look nice and work great! After getting them all set up it takes me about 5 minutes to switch my regular doors out with these.

This is among few reviews I’ve given. Also, this is the second and last Barricade product I will ever buy. The assembly is not bad, however the fit, once installed, is simply off on all doors except the driver’s side and I tried every trouble shooting method to fix. What’s particularly disconcerting is that Barricade designs specifically for JK Wranglers. The expectation is that, once assembled, they should simply fit with minor adjustments; easily and tightly. These (with the exception of the driver) do not; at all. While considering this product, I looked at the few reviews that were out there. One of the reviewers said the same (I should’ve listened) but I called ET and asked them regardless because, like I said they are good looking doors and matched the design I wanted. The customer Svc rep acknowledged this review and comment and said that, since, they’ve corrected the issue (they have not) and have not received any complaints. (Well, this is at least the second one) WHile this is a really nice looking design it simply is not worth the (considerable) price. I would suggest looking at other manufacturers. For that matter, I would steer clear of Barricade products altogether. As said, this is my second. The first was a rear bumper and matching rear tire carrier. Once installed, the latch to the carrier blocked 1/2 of my PA license and it failed inspection. It shows this in the pic online but I neglected to take notice. My only options were to “specialty-mod” the door for $6-$800 or replace it (I did the latter with an OR-Fab). This is significant because I believe Barricade is a PA based company and they should have, at least, known to have designed the product to gel with PA State inspection code. Oh well, live and learn.
