Apparently the information in the catalog that these are stainless steel construction is false. Barely two years old and already rusting and bubbling the paint in two areas. Very disappointed.
These look great at a great price. That’s the good news. Bad news is you’ll be replacing them in a few years. Mine started showing rust in about 18 months, had to replace them at about 2 1/2 years in.
Out the box looked great felt great and now about a month in one of the plastic pads squeaks non stop when i step on it. Looks like its out of place but it wont snap back in.
Other than that its great. My son can now easily get in and out with out me having to give him a boost
First add-on to my truck. Provides just the right amount of real estate needed to feel confident stepping in and out of the truck. My 16 year old son installed these with minimal guidance but plenty of supervision in about 40 mins.
Purchased the oval bent side steps (barricade) for my 2016 F150 regular cab.
