Additional features include an integrated grille guard hoop, LED fog lights and 2 high-strength D-Ring mounts with included D-Rings. Integrated LED Fog Lights. This Barricade HD Front Bumper includes 2 LED Fog Lights. The fog lights are equipped with high output LEDs to provide an intense 6000K light temperature. Each light has a IP67 rating providing reliable waterproof performance, thanks to a tough aluminum housing sealed with a polycarbonate lens.
High Quality Construction. Manufactured from heavy-duty, 5/32-inch steel plating for strength, this Barricade Front Bumper is cold formed into shape. After trimming and final finishing, Barricade then completes its Bumper in a 2-stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade, textured black powder coating for durability and long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered its HD Front Bumper to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the original stock bumper reusing the factory hardware and mounting points. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean, straight forward installation. Installation can be completed in about 2 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a friend.
Application. This Barricade HD Winch Front Bumper with LED Fog Lights was designed for use on 2015-2017 Ford F-150s, excluding Raptor and EcoBoost models.
I got this product a few months ago and love it, however there a few things I need to address. When the bumper came, some of the mounting bolts didnt allign, upon further inspection tghey had been bent from the factory. This ended up in me trying to first beat them strait with a mallet and then eventually slightly filing down the holes on my truck frame to get it to fit. Once it was up all was great. Secondly, this bumper chips VERY easily from rocks and other debris, ive had it 4ish months of primarily highway driving and have alot of chips and scrapes where I am going to have the bumper covered in Line-X. Which brings up another issue i have and that the bumper is starting to rust in places it shouldn’t like along the weld lines and I live in TX so no its not due to salt. Overall I would give the bumper a 10/10 for appearance, 4/10 for quality of craftsmanship and a 7/10 for the ease of install. For the price being under 1K its really not a bad choice. The LED fog lights are BRIGHT!!
So far this bumper looks and functions just as advertised and the price is great..
Overall I do like the bumper, however the mounts for the light bar needed to be modified to fit the rough country 30 inch bar that is shown as frequently bought together. I still have to modify it more to keep the light bar from flipping up. Ive also found that it has started rusting after only a few months so im assuming I got one with touchy powder coating.
I chose the Barricade HD Winch Bumper for a variety of reasons, one being for a winch mount, two for integrated driving lights, three for the top hoop to hold an LED light bar, and four for the overall look. Overall I’ve been very pleased. My only nit is that it’s a bit difficult to get to the winch controls, as the only way to reach it is from the underside through large holes. Makes it a bit tricky to plug the control cable in. You might want to consider a wireless remote version of winch.
This bumper was easy to install. Me and my fellow classmates at the local votech had a awesome time installing it. The LEDs were plug and play other then some damage that happened during shipping but it was nothing to hard to fix.
