A great looking bumper, will see if it holds up with Michigan winters.
Features are nice and install went fairly OK but I did noticed some problems for me that are specific to higher end trims like the Denali that have many sensors and features.
1) The trailer plug assembly for higher end trucks doesn’t quite fit correctly since the top lips over the bumper edge. Also the license
plate kind of does too but not terribly I guess.
2) I had problems getting the keyfob anchor installed in the stock OEM
position and had to rotate it 180 degrees to face the connector
upward. Had to cut the bracket snap on the top to allow clearance for
the connector.
3) Since I have the CTA radar’s in the corners, the extensions for the
ultrasonic sensors needed to be used on the middle sensors, not the
outer ones as specified in the manual. And even still only needed to
be a couple inches long.
4) My outer ultrasonic sensors seem to be tripping out at times,
indicating a object as close as possible to the truck. I’m investigating now but I think the holders for the sensors are not that
tight and the sensor is being pushed to one side of the hole and detecting the bumper point blank.
I plan to 3d print some spacers that will be push fit to perfectly locate the sensor in the center and will see if that helps.
5) My bumper came in with some minor scratches in the coating on the edge tips, had to rubber coat those areas for rust prevention.
