Needed a little modification but after that install was a breeze. These gave me alot of clearance from rocks and other obstacles in Moab. I still plan on installing aluminum skin on the rockers between the rails and body.

The product looks great but takes FOREVER to put on. It also squeaks a bit which get kind of annoying. It looks great on the jeep but wish I went with a different product.

Once these were on, they look great. A strong and sturdy product. Some powder coating in the threads made it impossible to get the nuts on without doing some cleanup first. The included washers were the wrong size so a trip to the store was needed. On the driver side rail, the bracket that attaches to the frame either got bent during shipping or was just not angled properly during production, so it took a little extra motivation to line everything up. Annoying stuff, but not a deal-breaker by any means. If you know what to expect going in, I think these rails are definitely worth it. And, if these small issues could be corrected, it would be 5 stars all around.

The product looks great. Have not had a chance to test it’s durability yet. My only complaint thus far is that One of the bolts that came attached to the rail for install sheared clean off as I was tightening the nut. There are still 5 bolts holding that side on but a little disappointing after I was so excited to get these installed. Overall I worked around the dilemma but just soemthing to be aware of should you decide to go with this product.

Before you begin, click the Installation tab (next to the Description tab) to view a color version of the instructions, as it’s hard to see the detail in the photos in the black-and-white printout that ships with the rails.

The first instruction is to install two threaded metal clips on the underside of the body. This isn’t necessary on the 2014 two-door model because there’s already a threaded screw mount on the underside of the Jeep that aligns perfectly with rails, so there will be extra parts (total for both sides): four each of the threaded clips, shorter screws, accompanying washers.

Fit is great and installation is easy once you get the parts sorted. Everything lined up perfectly on my Jeep, from the screws along the pinch seam to the large mounts on the underside. For the pinch seam, use a 10mm box end wrench (most of my tools are metric) because the threads are close to the underside of the body and a socket wrench doesn’t fit. The large screws for the underside mount take a 1/2″ socket. As the instructions state, tighten along the pinch seams first, then tighten the underside mounts.

The result is a great-looking set of rails and steps with a nice, factory-like fit. If you’re considering this product and it has the look you’re after, buy it.
