Description

The Ultimate Bumper. The Barricade Alloy Series Aluminum Front Bumper is an incredible upgrade over the factory bumper on your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. You get a stylish, strong black bumper, steel winch plate and D-Rings, making this ideal for any recovery operation.

Sturdy Construction. The Barricade Bumper is built from 4mm thick aluminum, which is remarkably resilient while lightweight. The Winch Plate is made from 5mm thick steel, while the D-Ring Mounts are 10mm thick. What you’re getting is a highly-durable bumper that can handle recoveries from the toughest of terrains.

FInish. The Aluminum Front Bumper is finished in a black powder coat. It will complement whatever paint color adorns your Wrangler and promises long-lasting durability.

Installation. Installing this Aluminum Front Bumper is relatively simple with basic tools. In most cases, the fog light harness will need to be extended. You’ll have to cut and splice the wires to the appropriate length.

Application. The Barricade Alloy Series Aluminum Front Bumper fits all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK.

  1. nicely made. light weight black wrinkle finish. good bang for your buck. looks great!

  2. I love the look of this with my new Rough Country 9,500 lbs winch. However, it seems the product has been updated since the installation video was made. A few lessons learned from a beginner level jeep mechanic:
    – invest in the right tools to get the old bumper off. You will need a longer socket wrench (more torque), a universal joint, an 18 mm deep socket and a three inch extension. It is much easier if you remove the top air dam over the bumper first as well. The plastic screws to move the top air dam is an IQ test. Just drill them out.
    – The fog light installation is different now. You have to install a separate bracket, and then I couldn’t get one of the screw/nut combos together. The geometry is impossible. Maybe I’m an idiot. Three screws should hold the fog lights though, and if not, I know my next upgrade.
    – Lining up the pieces to install the bumper is tricky. Luckily, my wife is way smarter than I am. Use the lower outside bolts backwards (head towards the passenger compartment). That will allow you to put the winch plate, bumper, and shackle plates on one at a time. Then you can put the other three bolts on each side in the correct way. Complete by reversing the backwards bolts. Seriously, even with three people it is hard to keep all the pieces aligned otherwise.
    – you may need some tie wraps to keep the electrical cables where you want them.
    – It took me all day to take off the old bumper, put the new one on and install the winch. But if I had all the right tools out of the gate, I could have done it much faster. I put an afternoon for the bumper, which I think I could do next time. The fog lights took way longer than they should have to install.

  3. The bumper fit perfectly and looks good. If you watch the video it looks like a piece of cake to install. It took me longer to figure out the fog light install than to to put on the bumper. Pictures were terrible.

  4. Overall we’re happy with the bumper. The instruction are lacking and you’re basically figuring it out yourself. Fog light mounting is completely different from the instructions. We will end up fabricating some filler pieces behind the bumper for a more finished look but overall satisfied.

  5. Product was awesome fit perfectly good Hardware super lightweight weight savings on a steel bumper is awesome my whole package with my winch and my bumper only cost me seventy-five extra pounds
