My winch broke the second time I used it. The first time I used it it over heated and I had to wait an hour before it would work again
Straight forward installation via YouTube on my Body Armor 4×4 hiline series bumper. Lack of instructions included in packaging. Mounting the bottom with the screws to the bumper was a very tight and tricky endeavor. Make sure your gear box is turned on with red switch before mounting. Had a mini heart attack trying to get it to work after mounting bumper and winch back up to truck with everything connected to battery because no instructions said anything about red switch on gear box. Winch is good, install was difficult, minuscule hard copy of install instructions, but thank God for YouTube. Wireless remote is an awesome addition. Just make sure you have an extra 23A battery on hand.
Good solid winch would upgrade line to synthetic but it is perfect for the Tacoma
