installed this set of steps for my grandparents new to them truck. the bars themselves seemed solid and the foot pads are large flat and the sharpness of the plastic grabs the sole of your shoe well. after mounting them checked them by rocking the whole truck they don’t seem to move at all. ran into two problems when installing. at this age of truck cab mount bolts are probably corroded. had one just snap off up inside body mount. I was able to remove with a Snap-On turbo socket TSTY85 your size might vary depending on corrosion. the second problem I had was from the steps themselves. when threading in the bolts to mount the bars one of the rivnuts on the bars came loose it gave me trouble removing the bolt/bar I was able to use a rivnut tool to reset the one rivnut. so just make sure all your rivnuts are solid.

Bars have been on the truck for almost a year and have held up well ..truck has a 4″ lift and these have helped with getting in and out ..very pleased with the bars and they look good too
