I installed these step bars in 2021, 3 years later and they are holding up great. No signs of corrosion or paint fade. Solid step bars. Easy to install but best for 2 people to hold in place while putting in the bolts. I think it took about 2 hours to install. These bars are heavy. Definitely recommend them.
Barricade side steps were so easy to mount and all brackets lined up perfectly ! Had it all finished in maybe an hour and a half ! Only issue was that the rear mounting holes on my truck were full of gravel and rusted so I had to get a tap to clean out those holes !! No problem !! And they look great on the truck !!
Love these side bars! You can only tell so much by looking at pictures, but I’m happy that I went with these. They add not only some practical side protection, but also add some style. Rugged but classy. Yes, you give up about 4 inches or so of ground clearance, but since this is primarily an on-road vehicle, I’m ok with that. The install took a little longer because I was by myself, and besides that, I overtightened a couple of the bolts and so, had to replace a couple of lock washers. I used a jack to hold up one end until I got the bolts in the other end. Other than that, pretty easy install.
I installed these myself and it was an easy install. They look great and I can get my entire foot on the step. Fit and finish are great. Go and get a pair you won’t regret it.
This was an EASY install. It only took about 30 minutes to install with a little help from my teen son. The braces bolt straight into the factory holes. Then, run the bolts through the bars, make minor fit adjustments, tighten them down, and you’re done. These have changed the look of my truck for the better. When I upgrade from the stock tires, these will balance out and I think they’ll look even better. It’s only been two weeks, but I can’t recommend these highly enough.
