Heavy Duty Construction. Barricade manufactures their Tubular Drop Steps to precise specifications from heavy duty, mandrel bent tubular steel for superior strength and rigidity. Barricade then completes their Side Step Bars in a high-grade, fine textured black powder coated finish for long lasting durability and corrosion resistance.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered their Tubular Drop Steps to be a direct bolt-on upgrade reusing the factory mounting points and hardware. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward install. Installation can be completed in about 2 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a good friend.

These side steps are pretty cool. They help my wife climb in...lol
BUT, the mounting hardware bolts that came with them are a VERY LOW grade and two of them snapped before even snug.

I looked at a ton of steps, running boards, etc before purchasing. IMHO, I bought exactly the right product for my needs. These were installed by my chubby self in about 15-20 minutes per side, including moving the truck to expose the perfect place to lay the cardboard to make my spot slicker to spin around and tighten all the bolts. The ONLY down side was the nicks, and scratches on the black finish. One ding shows glaringly after install, but its not a show truck, its gonna get dirty.

These are quality side steps that are functional, solid and look great. Really impressed for the price. Offers a wide area to step on with the lettering cut out to form a non-skid surface. Tubular portion tucks in nicely under the door frame to improve look and give your truck body some additional protection. Tough, durable finish. Easy for one person to install in about an hour.
