Barricade's HD Tire Carrier Bracket, for use with the OEM tire mount, was engineered to distribute the weight of your Jeep's spare tire across the entire tailgate to eliminate unwanted metal fatigue. With this big, beefy Tire Carrier Bracket in place you won't have to worry about your over sized spare tire adding any undo stress to your JK's sheet metal tailgate. Barricade's HD Tire Carrier Bracket will not affect the operation of tailgate.

Heavy Duty Construction. Barricade Off-Road manufactures their HD Tire Carrier Bracket from 5mm thick, hot rolled carbon steel plate for superior strength and extra rigidity. Barricade then completes the entire Bracket in a two stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for long lasting durability.

Bolt-on Installation. Barricade designed their HD Tire Carrier Bracket to be a direct bolt-on upgrade for all Jeep JKs. As a direct bolt-on, this Barricade Tire Carrier reuses the original factory OEM tire mount and third bracket light. There is no additional cutting, drilling, or fabrication required for installation.

Application. This Barricade Heavy Duty Spare Tire Carrier Bracket is designed to reuse the factory OEM tire carrier mount and 3rd brake light on 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKs, including the 2-door and 4-door models. Only the HD Tire Carrier Bracket is included.
