Barricade HD Flat Fender Flares (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

After looking at so many different fender options, I came across a deal to god to pass up. I picked up a set that was a return/ scratched item for a great price. Most full sets will run 600 plus, this set normally is 350 ish, but stolen for just over 150. 157 for front and rear !! The description and pictures were accurate. A couple trail runs and I’ll never see what was there.

Instillation would have been easier if I had smaller hands. The biggest head ache was getting the nuts on in some of the places. Other than that instillation was straight forward. I watched the video before hand. I think some of my hardware was different. I needed a bigger drill bit for the inserts and a smaller one for the self tapping screws. Getting an actual nut insert tool is so worth the time.

Time wise, it took about 2 hours. I removed everything off the jeep first, then installed the front fenders and finished with the rear fenders.

Overall I’m happy with the product. Price was good and description accurate. Instillation was as expected. My only disappointment was how thin the metal was on the top piece. It’s sturdy enough, but I don’t think I would stand on it. The surprise counter to this was they were also much lighter than I expected. I can’t imagine they are much heavier than stock fenders. I gained about 4 inches of clearance at all corners. Plenty of room to stuff my tires into now.

If looking for an affordable option, these are definitely worth the consideration. Not to mention you get 4 for what other are charging for 2.

I got these fenders for Christmas after wanting them forever. I chose to do the install myself and the fronts went on super easy! But if you go by the instruction video the back gave us fits! The “rivet nut” tool that is given is not easy to use and they completely skip over it in the video. The tool she uses is like $50 and I didnt wanna spend that on top of the fenders. Over all it took us two days after work to put just the rears on.

I would invest in a better rivet nut driver tool, but the one that comes with the kit works just takes a while to set the rivet in place. There is minor drilling you have to do but overall not too bad.

I love my new fender flares! They look great! Well worth the money to get rid of my stock fenders that I had previously. Happy with my purchase!

Bought these knowing they were a cheaper model and my expectations were set for that, but one i unboxed these i was pleasantly suprised by the quality and finish. Very nice. The fit the shape and contours of the jeep perfectly and look great. They almost provide as much tire coverage as the stock fenders, but way more clearance for flex. Infact the way they are made your tire will impact the factory pinch seams before it hits the fenders. I run 33 inch tires on my stock height jk and broke a bunch of the plastic keepers for the stock fenders from flexing into them. My jeep hits the bump stops well before my tires contact anything with these flares. Very happy with them.
