Designed for Off-Road Use. Add an aggressive off-road appearance to your Jeep Gladiator JT by upgrading to a Barricade Apocalypse Grille Guard and Stubby Bumper. The Grille Guard provides excellent protection from all types of trail hazards and features an angular, hard core appearance perfect for Mad Max himself. The compact design of the Stubby Bumper yields the extra tire clearance needed for approaching steep inclines or when negotiating large obstacles. Also included is a built-in winch plate that is capable of supporting a 12,000-pound winch and 2 high-strength D-Ring mounts. D-Rings not included.

Heavy-Duty Construction. Barricade Off-Road manufactures its Apocalypse Grille Guard and Stubby Bumper from heavy-duty, fabricated steel plate for superior strength and rigidity. The D-Ring mounts are bolted into place for strength. Barricade then completes the entire Bumper and Grille assembly in a 2-stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade, textured black powder coating for durability and long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered its Apocalypse Grille Guard and Bumper to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the original stock grille and bumper reusing the factory mounting points. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean, straight forward install. Installation can be completed in about 3 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a friend.

Application. This Barricade Off-Road Apocalypse Grille Guard with Stubby Bumper is specifically designed for use on 2020-2025 Jeep Gladiator JT models.

Please Note. This Barricade bumper supports up to 10,000 lbs. of flat-tow capability using the included D-Rings or integrated tow hooks.

Fitment was poor and once installed you realize how much is missing to make it complete. I ended up buying bezels for the headlights to fill voids, custom make a trim horizontal trim piece for the top/hood front to cover a void and exposed screw heads/openings, buy a radiator screen for protection and grind down the top in 2 areas so the hood would close. I also installed a separate winch to make it look right and had to paint the exposed bumper base so the bottom looked like it belonged. For a grill/bumper guard replacement, it took a lot of extra time and expense to make it look like it was part of the jeep.

I had a real problem getting zombie guts into the grill. When I would run them over in the herds of zombies, their brains and decomposing flesh would lodge itself into the spaces between the grill. I knew a sturdy upgrade was needed. Enter the "Apocalypse", the extended reach of the metal not only kept zombie debris at a longer length from my jeep parts. But, I also looks really cool in a teenager way. My only suggestion is the exposure to the radiator. I wish Barricade made an insert to protect the radiator in my mass killings of the undead.

One of the one things I did like about the product is that they have an independent how to video on installation of it, which took some of the guesswork out

Beast of a grille-guard, with a heavy duty winch plate. The actual weight of this zombie killer isn’t much more than the OEM bumper with all the electrical components and stock fog lights. I do agree with other reviewers that the welds could be cleaner, and something in place to better protect the radiator and other visible internal parts, but overall love the unique look of this front end.

This thing is heavy duty! It will require a battle buddy, but it is worth it! Install time for me including installing a new winch was roughly an hour and a half. It did require a little persuasion on 1 side to make the hood lock a little easier, but other than that perfect install. Would buy again in a heartbeat! FYI, you own a Jeep, and buy a full steel grille guard, MPG isn't the first thing that comes to mind for me... 5 Stars all the way!
