Remote Control. Don't hit the trail unprepared, make sure your Wrangler is equipped with Barricade Off-Road's Wireless 9500lb Winch w/Synthetic Rope. This winch gives you even more safety and security when recovering from the roughest of spots. Stand back and take control with a wireless remote keeping you and other's out of harms way.

Winch Specs. The Barricade Off-Road 9500lb Winch is driven by a powerful 5.5 HP series-wound 12-volt electric motor and features a rugged 3-stage planetary gear box with a 195.4:1 gear ratio to provide 9500lbs of pulling power to get you out of the messiest situations. Matched with the two-way automatic, in-the-drum braking system you know you can always rely on this winch to hold your rig.

Accessories. This winch comes with a 94 foot bright orange synthetic rope, a hook, wireless remote control, a remote control on a 12 foot lead, a winch cover and a 4-way aluminum hawse fairlead.

Application. This winch requires a battery with a minimum of 650 cold cranking amps to operate properly. Installs with a standard mounting footprint of 10 by 4.5 inches on all 1966-2025 Jeep CJ and Wrangler.

Please note: To prevent damages to the synthetic rope from sun and weather this winch requires using the included cover when not in use.

used it for the first time this weekend and was very smooth and easy to use. Had no problem helping a friend get out of the mud

Install was easy and straightforward with few modifications due to bumper style. (AEV Heavy Duty)
Line pre-tension was easy and went quick.
Like to see a standard sized battery in remote.
I added line protector to thimble and first 8-10 feet of line. Might want to make that an option.
Great value and the synthetic Dyneema line is great.

Easy install and easy to operate. Use the winch more than I thought around the ranch.

Had this winch mounted for two years and used it three times under load. After the second time, I thought the mounting had become loose so I tightened up the bolts (bound to happen with running trails). After using it the third time and the mountings appearing to be loose, I took another look. It appears that the gearing is the actual problem as every time the spool meets a certain point, it will rock the entire winch and I also cannot pull the rope when it is in free spool mode.

Looks good is serviceable and sets well in the Stryker bumper. Didn't have to modify.
