Barricade 3-Inch Side Step Bars; Body Mount; Black (14-18 Silverado 1500)

These are great low profile step bars. Easy instal on the Silverado without any power tools (recommend having a breaker bar on hand) and I am no mechanic. These were exactly what my Z71 needed.

Steps are well made. Very durable and easy to install.
Instruction are good and all parts are labeled on the parts
once you see the marks it goes pretty quick. Father and myself installed then in an couple of hours. We took our time and could've probably been done within an hour.
Steps bars make a huge difference with my kids jumping into the back much easier. Came in the mail quickly and very well packaged.

I paid $180 or so but would gladly pay 200+. I’m a bigger guy so the body mount version was a no brainer. Super easy to install with literally 3 tools if you’re installing on 2014-2018 models. I’m no mechanic, either. A wrench and 2 sockets is all I needed. In standard size it’s 13/16 and 1/2 inch deep sockets. I have an impact driver but didn’t even need it. I’m bigger but not a powerhouse or anything and was able to break loose the body mount bolts pretty easily with a grunt here and there. In less than an hour I had them installed in my driveway. Most of the hour was just me taking my time. Even I could toss these on a pickup in half an hour tops, now. So even if you’re not very mechanically inclined, don’t worry. Clear Instructions were also included in the box.

They look great and make it much easier for me and the wife to climb in now. Love it!

Hello. My first review on here. I wanted to replace my side steps to match my black and white theme. I went with these simply because of price. I did like the design but ultimately the price was my deciding factor. I had them professionally installed because I needed my old OEM bars removed. Nice bars, much smaller than the OEM and they are very close to the body of the truck. Overall a 4/5 due to the positioning of the bars.
