I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, so I installed it today to surprise her. The stainless matched up very nicely against the chrome grille and accents on her F150.

Installation was simple and took about a solid hour. If you have an F150 with tow hooks, you can remove them without having to remove the bumper. I gently pried the tow hook trim to expose the front bolt to the frame. Once the front bolts were removed, I used a crescent wrench to reach the rear bolts as a ratchet wouldn't fit the gap. Only loosen the rear bolts enough to remove the tow hooks, as you don't want to lose the nut bar in the frame. I slid the tow hooks out and then easily removed the rubber trim pieces.

Installing the bull bar from that point was a 15 minute process. I positioned the brackets and got the bolts snug but not torqued. After a quick practice fit of the bull bar, I aligned the brackets a bit better to center the bar. You cannot torque the frame bolts with the bull bar installed, so I removed it, torqued the bolts, and reinstalled. It was worth doing so. The fit was very good, but do not expect the bar to fit the span of the adapter brackets without some level of adjustment.

All in all, it's a sturdy bar that seems like it would offer good protection in the event of a minor obstruction or low speed collision.
