I purchased these as an open box missing hardware for $112. I could not be happier! I ordered with 2-day delivery and Extreme came through, not so much for UPS with them stuck in the distribution center. It took 5 working days to deliver but they are now installed. I touched up a few areas with Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating and blended nicely. The instructions detailed the hardware so McMaster to the rescue and with a quick fit-up, I was able to determine the length need for the spacers. I had 2″ pipe laying around so a couple of quick cuts on the cold saw and a little paint. I spent more time removing the front passenger side bolt than anything else. The rails fit perfect, I used a floor jack to help hold in place while tightening.

Purchased these on a Friday, was delivered by Tuesday.. Two day delivery was spot on..
Taking of the stock rock rails was extremely easy. Getting the three bolts out on each side “body mount bolts” required that i used a breaker bar and a 18mm. The bolts had blue lock tight. Installed the passenger side rail first.. Went on without a hitch.. Used a battery operated torque wrench that has 640ft of torque..
Here is where the problem has come in.. Went to install the drivers side of these rails.. Got the front bolt in, leaving some room for flexibility, Then installed the rear bolt leaving some play room too.. For whatever reason the middle bolt would not go in.. and lock up inside.. Had to take it to a Auto Mechanic friends place.. We tried a punch bar to slide the rail over enough to to see if we could get the bolt to take hold.. The problem is the hold had to be drilled out some for the bolt to screw be centered and not at an angle.. Someone needs to look at the location where the center hole is being drilled and re-align the drill press so folks don’t have this issue.. just my 2 cents and opinion.
Besides the small glitch.. The girlfriend loves them.. she is a bit vertically challenged and it really helps for her to have a step up into the Jeep.. I really like them, they make the Jeep look a bit more beefier in appearance. Very well designed and gives that additional strength needed..
Installation took me roughly 2 hours.. and 30 minutes at the Autostore for the mechanic to drill out the hole and install the bolt for me.. The video on installation is spot on.. There was no surprises.

Love the look and quality of the product. However be careful if self-installing as it is a known issue that you can shear a body mount bolt if you put too much torque on the bolt. Don’t be me, treat your body mount bolts politely.

They look great on! I only gave it 4 stars because the drivers side rail was a little banged up on both ends. This project would have only taken about 20 minutes but the bolts on the Jeep, that you mount them with, would not come out!!! I ended up going into the Dave Smith’s (local dealership) accessory shop and asking for help. It took their Mac Daddy of all impact guns to loosen the bolts on the new Jeep, and they still had to work at it! Overall, I’m super pleased with the rails!
