Built tough from heavy duty steel plate, this Barricade Skid Plate is ideal for off-road applications.

High Quality Construction. Cold formed into shape, this Barricade Skid Plate is manufactured from heavy duty 5/32 inch steel plating for strength. After trimming and final finishing Barricade then completes their Skid Plate in a two stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered their Skid Plate to be a direct bolt on upgrade for their HD2 Off-Road Front Bumper. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward install. Installation can be completed in under an hour with just basic hand tools.

Originally ordered just the bumper because I already had a TRD skid plate and wasn’t sure how everything would mount up. There is a gap between the bumper and TRD skid plate and this matched up well. Requires you to drill two holes to match up to the TRD skid plate and longer bolts (not provided) to remount the front tow hooks due to the added thickness of the bumper brackets, TRD skid plate, this barricade hd2 skid plate, and then the tow hooks. The bolts are a 12mm x 1.25 (extra fine) thread pitch. You need about a half inch longer set of 4 bolts. ~40-45mm if I remember correctly will work. Only takes about 30 min to drill holes (if needed for for application) and complete installation.
