Designed to easily attach to your HD Off-road Front Bumper, this Skid Plate will help to protect your front under carriage from all types of trail hazards. Built tough from heavy duty steel plate, this Barricade Skid Plate is ideal for off-road applications.
High Quality Construction. Cold formed into shape, this Barricade Skid Plate is manufactured from heavy duty 5/32 inch steel plating for strength. After trimming and final finishing Barricade then completes their Skid Plate in a two stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Barricade engineered their Skid Plate to be a direct bolt on upgrade for their HD Off-Road Front Bumper. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward install. Installation can be completed in under an hour with just basic hand tools.
Application. This Barricade Skid Plate is designed for use on 2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models equipped with the Barricade HD Off-Road Front Bumper part# S112571 ONLY, it will not work with other bumpers.
I’m gonna use it as a template for an aluminum skid replacement.
I modified it to fit my Barricade Extreme HD bumper #S101319.
Very simple to do.
It’s not made for my barricade bumper
I thought the only difference was one comes with the cube LED lights and one doesn’t
But I had to drill holes to bolt the front part of the skid plate to the inside lip of my bumper. I also cut a bit off on the passenger front side of my OE transfer case plate so it would fit (overlaps about 1/2 inch)
I didn’t think I would be able to notice it since my truck had a 3.75 in “lift” lol
But it’s bad ass and I look sexy driving it haha
Nice heavy duty skid plate but it doesn’t fit the Barricade HD Extreme bumper. It fits the Barricade HD Off-road. Not sure why there’s a picture of the Extreme bumper in the customer photos. It’s misleading.
The angle is and the holes do not line up for the extreme bumper.
