High Quality Construction. Fabricated from heavy-duty steel plate for strength, this Barricade Stubby Front Bumper is cold formed into shape. After trimming and final finishing, Barricade then completes its Bumper in a 2-stage finish, using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade, textured black powder coating for durability and long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Straight Forward Installation. Please note that this Barricade HD Stubby Front Bumper installs in conjunction with your stock factory bumper, and that modifying the factory bumper is required for installation. The install can be completed in about 2 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a friend.
Application. This Barricade HD Stubby Front Bumper is designed to fit 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma models.

First off, I love the look of this bumper. It was a great improvement over stock setup. Install was more difficult than expected because directions included were for 15-20 Tacomas, so nothing lined up as it should. In the end it required some trimming of lower bumper and some coaxing with the brackets to get it lined up an installed. I don’t know if I got the wrong version or not, but I made it work.

Fit and finish exceeded my expectations. All the parts were there and the online installation videos were spot on. In my book, it doesn’t get any better than that. The only thing I ran up against was my 2020 Tacoma had a couple of clips on the factory fender flare that weren’t in the video. Was not a big problem to figure out.

Decided to give the Barricade HD Stubby Front Bumper a try, as I’ve been looking for an upgrade to the front end of my Tacoma, and I’m not looking for a winch mount.
Install took about two hours, and was kind of a pain, but I’m pretty happy with the product overall. The fit is a little offset, but I can mess with that in the future. Good product though. Good welds, sturdy, and looks pretty nice. Nice that it also comes with hardware to mount a light bar, although I’m not sure if I’ll do that.
