Barricade Grille Guard; Black (09-18 RAM 1500, Excluding Rebel)

I bought this item "Open Box" on 4/24/2020. Prior to purchasing it, I called customer service and asked them what exactly was missing from the item. I was told the item might have minor scratches and dings, and was missing the bolts. The item listing stated "returnable within 7 days for store credit." Upon receiving the item, I discovered one of the mounting points was bent approximately 45 degrees, one of the rubber protective strips was missing, and all of the brackets were missing. I called customer service, and after a lengthy wait, was told they could not supply parts, nor could they direct me to a place which sold the required parts. I noticed there was an "open box" listing for the stainless steel version of this, which included only the brackets and bolts. I asked about purchasing this, possibly at a discount, since I was misled the first time when I spoke with customer service. I was informed they could not discount it any further. They also told me they would not waive the $75.00 "handling" fee. Apparently it takes a forklift or several bodies to lift a small box of brackets, and is such an inconvenience that it incurs an additional fee. I even tried to get the contact information for the manufacturer for the product, so I could buy the parts directly from them. I was told that Barricade is an in-house brand. Their suggestion? "Look at the install diagram. It should show you what they look like in case you want to look for some or make some." How is it that a company who manufactures and markets its own products, and claims to have excellent customer service, cannot possibly help out a customer? Upon asking for a return for the item, I was told freight items were not refundable. I pointed out the description on the item which read "returnable within 7 days for store credit" and was told that I should have received an email that stated no returns were allowed. I did not. Unless this company can come up with a solution for my problem and change my mind, I will NEVER purchase another item from them, and will actively encourage others to do the same.

If that thing truly mounts to the headlight housing mounts it is just a heavy decoration. The only metal between it and the radiar/ motor is the upper end lower radiator brackets. The sides are pure plastic

Easy to install. Didn't have any problems. Shipping was a little iffy, but if you're getting something like this, you're expecting that I would hope lol

The grill war fit perfectly in my truck. It took me 2hrs to install it. The only problem was that had a scratch but it didn’t affect his function.

Install took 3 hours with a helper. The install video shared on this site works very well with the instructions that came with the guard. Only exception is, in the video, the install took 2 hours and they opted to keep the weather guard off. I didnt like that look and Modified mine by cutting slits in the plastic weather guard for the mounting brackets. It worked well and completes the look. Fitting that plastic guard did take about an hour to reattach because of the new grill guard.

Overall, the install was smooth, the only real issue was the brackets for the headlamp portion. The angle of the brackets don't coincide easily with the headlamp mounting bolt or the grill guard bolts. Need a helper to help for sure.
