I replaced a pinch seam mounted rail with these steps. These mount to the body mounts (which are attached to the frame) so even if you use them off road, your pinch seam won’t get pushed in. I would say for an avid off roader, these will offer a mid grade level of protection and definitely offer much more clearance than a nerf bar or steps that stick down. If your Jeep is lifted, I would suggest grab handles because it is slightly harder to get in. Love the platform style step areas. They make it easy to access the roof and hood on a lifted Jeep. Very easy install!!!

This is a great, affordable pair of side steps and it is a very simple installation. My only recommendation would be to use a sealant if you’re planning to go offroading to ensure that the finish does not chip.

It took me about 30 mins to install and that included prep time. 8 bolts. They look amazing, but now I have to upgrade something else.

PROS: Looks good. Very sturdy product and the powder coat on it looks good. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Pretty beefy. Doesn’t flex at all when being stepped on.
CONS(not really cons, just being picky) Little bigger then expected, and having another person on hand to help with the installation would have helped the process.

Purchased these steps for my 2014 Wrangler 2-Door and installed them today. Installation was a breeze. The textured finish looks great and seems durable. The build quality is superb.
