Barricade Extreme HD Front Bumper (04-08 F-150)

In my efforts to "Raptorize" my '05 F150 I looked all over the internet for an attractive front bumper but everything out there looked like I was either too sporty like I was getting it ready to do the Baja 1000 or too bulky like I was about to push cattle out of the way. The Barricade bumper is the perfect balance. I opted for the model without the LED cubes and light bar because I already have a set of Rigids I will be installing. I also had the it Rhino lined for extra protection and looks. With the help of the included instructions and the AT video, installation COULD have been a breeze. However, it took a full day because apparently the results of a fender bender I had about 10 years ago came back to haunt me as I could not figure out why things were not lining up. After doing some investigating and numerous repositioning of the brackets (by the 4th re-install, the weight of the bumper was starting to kick in!!) I could see where the repair was done - driver side frame rail - and that it was slightly shifted. Using a Dremel, I ended up having to widen the mounting holes on the passenger side frame rail by a 1/4 inch and everything fell into place. Look awesome and I have received tons of compliments on it. I only wish Barricade made a rear bumper for the '05.

Works great and looks good! The light bar took a little bit of time to install and had to buy extra hardware to make it work it is a 20 inch I would recommend using a 24 inch and it should work perfectly.

I really like this bumper, mounts right up with no problems. Gives my truck a mean look!
