Simple, Bolt-on Installation. The Barricade Cat Guard Skid Plate was engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade using just basic hand tools. There is no cutting or drilling required for a clean straight forward installation that can be completed in about 1 hour.

Good price, quick delivery and easy install. This skid plate is perfect for protecting the Ram's plastic trans case and covering the cats, making them harder to steal. It has a hole allowing access to the oil pan drain plug. On a limited just put it at its highest ride setting (off road 2) and you have plenty of access. Otherwise just drive up some ramps. Use a floor jack to position the plate onto the front studs, then just start the back bolts with spacer between frame and plate. reach up and start the front nuts on the studs. Then remove the jack and tighten everything up. Takes longer to get out the tools than to install. This plate is perfect for protection, use on gravel roads and light off road. while heavy and stiff It may or may not be the best option available for serious off roaders but for the price it is a great value.
