All hardware for installation is included making this an easy job for anyone to complete. F-150s that are not equipped with tow hooks will require some cutting to the factory plastic lower bumper cover.
Application. This Polished Barricade Off-Road Brush Guard is specifically designed for use on the 2015 to 2017 F-150s, including the King Ranch, Lariat, Limited, Platinum, XL and XLT models. Additionally this will be specific to F-150s not equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or Forward Collision Warning Systems. It is not compatible on Raptor models.
Technical Note. The Brush Guard may interfere with the function of front parking sensors and front camera, if equipped. Also the Brush Guard may partially block airflow getting to the intercooler on EcoBoost models.

The tales of an hour install are a little exaggerated. Watch the ‘how to remove the tow hooks’ and ‘how to remove the grill videos’ on YouTube. Although the instructions with the poor-to-read illustrations say don’t remove grill, it is a 5 minute job that will pay off huge dividends and cut you cussing down significantly. The product is great, shipper (UPS freight) terrible, unseen damage inside the box.

I decided on this particular Brush Guard because it followed the new headlight design on the 2015 and newer F 150. I have a 2015 F 150 and this Brush Guard really sets off my Gem Green Truck. It was not to difficult to install, but make sure that you leave the rear bottom bumper bolts in a couple of threads and then start the front bolt and then remove the back bolt entirely and align bracket and put back in. The brackets do not have a slot in them like the tow hooks do and if you remove the lower bumper bolts the nut plate might move and you will have a heck of time getting them lined up again. Armed with a tape measure it took me awhile to get it adjusted before I tightened everything down. I did remove my grill which will give plenty of room to work in and I was able to put the grill and headlight trim back on with the Brush Guard installed. The polish job on the Brush Guard is alright. Its really shiny but you can see where it was burned in a few places and some of the welds are still blue and unpolished. All in all I think it looks awesome and I would buy another. The price is very reasonable compared to others and the best part for me is following that trim line around the headlights.

Cutting plastic was a bit tough to get brackets bolted on. Guard has several spots near the welds that should have been polishe n buffed more but from a distance looks great. Fitment to 2016 f 150 ecoboost is perfect
