All hardware for installation is included, making this an easy job for anyone to complete. F-150 models that are not equipped with tow hooks will require some trimming to the factory plastic lower bumper cover.
Application. This Gloss Black Barricade Brush Guard is specifically designed for use on the 2015-2020 F-150s, including the King Ranch, Lariat, Limited, Platinum, XL and XLT models. Additionally this will be specific to F-150s not equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or Forward Collision Warning Systems. It is not compatible on Raptor models.
Technical Note. The Brush Guard may interfere with the function of front parking sensors and front camera, if equipped. Also the Brush Guard may partially block airflow getting to the intercooler on EcoBoost models.
Looks great on my truck. Took less than an hour to install after watching the video.
The Brush guard it what I wanted showed up packaged great. Instructions are easy to follow. Didn’t take to long to put in. It’s a very Solid Brush guard.
When delivered the packaging was quite tore-up.
There was no damage to the Guard, and all parts were there. Had a buddy give me a hand, so it only took about an hour and a half. Directions were spot on. Ran into one issue, the frame mounting bracket on the passenger side was a little long and bolt hole didn’t line-up. a little cutting, grinding and drilling and it fit. No other issues and it was done.
I bought this brush guard from the “open box” sale. A few weekends ago I was browsing the website on a Sunday evening around 19:30. The description said it was missing the mounting hardware but it was on sale for $300.00. I cheated with a customer service rep and he said he was inn the phone and would call me back. He did within 10 minutes and sold me both the brush guard and the mounting hardware for $350! This fits perfectly on my truck and looks great. Definitely takes two people to mount this.
