Durable Aluminum Construction. Barricade manufactures their Inner Fender Liners from fabricated 1/16 gauge aluminum plate for light weight and superior strength. These Inner Fender Liners are then completed in a durable textured black powder coated finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.
Straight Forward Installation. Complete with all the necessary brackets and hardware, these Barricade Aluminum Inner Fender Liners are a straight forward upgrade that anyone can accomplish in their drive way. Even though these Inner Fender Liners are designed to utilize factory bolt holes for installation, you will be required to drill additional holes.
Application. These Textured Black Barricade Aluminum Inner Fender Liners are designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. Choose from a front pair, a rear pair or a set of front and rear from the ordering options provided.
These do not fit with the stock outer fenders without modification, and they leave a large opening behind the front quarter panel where debris can fill the cavity all the way back to the door jamb. Debis still gets flung up between these fender liners and the fame to pile on top of the catalytic converter. more for looks than function.
These things look amazing! I thought they would be pretty easy to install, they are anything but, especially the rear. If you decide to install these on your own remove the tires, I did not remove the tires, and I think I’ve said more inappropriate words during that install than I had in my entire life lol. There are several things that get in the way of tightening the nut behind the fender well. The front ones were a relatively easy install. You just have to make sure that You measure the location of the holes really well that are required to be drilled out. Overall, super pleased with these!
Couldn’t believe when I finally got them on a screeching sound came from my front tires rubbing on the bottom edge when making a turn.
Installing involves a lot of drilling holes and had to cut through 1/2 inch of metal to get the push clips to fit properly for 2 of the holes
Looks great, but you will have to bend them out a bit to fit perfectly. Make sure you have good drill bits or of the wholes to drill will be a pain and take forever. Install is easy.
My hubby is a mechanic and was quickly able to install. Using a nutsert tool will make it easy. Did the same to install my fender flares. I purchased separate hardware but not needed, I’m just changing up the color.
