Review for Barricade Aluminum Inner Fender Liners; Textured Black (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

Articulating on the front with 35" is sketchy, they are further 'out' than most other liners and even cutting to fit is a little less than ideal, really worried about articulating in reverse and ripping them off, cut about as much as i could without going to the lower bolt and defeating their purpose. Looks OK but I had to add a side marker light.

Review for Barricade Aluminum Inner Fender Liners; Textured Black (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

The rear liners started out simple, but morphed into a bit of a struggle to get behind them to install the nuts. Also, the instructions advised to drill holes in certain places and to use self-tapping screws. Luckily I watched the XT install video and did not drill one of the holes on the driver side because the filler neck for the gas tank is behind it. The included instructions did not state that!
For the front liners, the area where you need to drill two holes and cut off part of the metal proved to be the most difficult. Having to angle a drill bit to drill behind the fender was a challenge because if you got too close to the fender, you end up grinding it down (yes, I did just that). Also reaching behind the liner to install the nuts for those two screws was not fun since there is very little room behind the one on the top. Overall the inner liners look pretty awesome, but I believe they could have been designed a little better so as not to make it so difficult to install.

Seemed like a quality product but the work involved was over my skill set which I was not expecting. I didn't read the instructions before purchasing to realize cutting and drilling of the Jeep is involved.

Looks great, but you will have to bend them out a bit to fit perfectly. Make sure you have good drill bits or of the wholes to drill will be a pain and take forever. Install is easy.

Easy to install and look good but they do not cover the area between the door and inner fender where debris dirt and water can get into and cause problems down the road
