Barricade Alloy Series Aluminum Front Bumper (18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL)

I will start by agreeing with many others that the instructions are pretty bad, especially when it comes to the fog lights. I figured it out after a bit and they ended up fitting great! If you watch the install video like I did you probably saw the part about lifting the bumper into place whilst holding eight bolts and the recovery plates and the winch plate all at the same time. It really is a difficult process and requires some help. But I didn't have any help so I came up with a method to install it myself that I thought I would share. First I zip tied the winch plate to the bumper using long zip ties thru the holes in the bumper and plate so that when I lifted it up the winch plate stayed in place. Then I only put the top two bolts in each side of the recovery plates and put tape around each bolt on the inside of the bumper so the outside wouldn't have a sticky mess when I pulled off the tape. The I lifted the whole thing up and rested it on the frame then lifted one side up to get the bolts to go through and then the other side.. not easy but it worked! I didn't bother removing the tape inside around the bolts, it will wear off. Once I got the top nuts started it held in place while I tightened it up, then put the four lower bolts in and tightened. After everything was tight I cut the zip ties. Bumper looks really good and seems good quality! BTW the hardest part by far was getting the OEM plastic bumper off!

Bumper went on easy and looks great. The only issue I have is that the D Ring mounts required inserts to be able to tow the Jeep. Now the D Rings I bought are too large to fit. Option is to buy smaller D Rings. Wanted to buy extra D Ring Mounts to swap out when not towing but I'm unable to find the part link. bummer...

Was a pretty doable install. Adapter setup for factory fog lights could be thought out way better...lazy manufacturing considering the amount you pay for this product. But overall, a good upgrade from the factory bumper and a quality product. Installed it alone in a few hours.

Installed this alloy front bumper on my 2021 Jeep Willys with just one issue that I knew about from other reviews, the fog light brackets. One side was perfect, the other side I used a mini grinder to grind down about 3/16 of alloy for it to fit properly. It was really no big deal, just another step, then I touched up with some paint. Other than that one issue, this is a very nice bumper. I didn't need the wire extensions like some said they did. You wont go wrong in buying this bumper.

Easy to install - great bumper - winch went on without a hitch! Highly recommended~!
