Installation was simple and was perfect fitment. They look great and seem to be high quality.
I have degenerative disc disease and getting into my beloved Dorothy (’14 F150) had been getting increasingly difficult. With Minnesota winter fast approaching and the very real risk of injury due to slipping on ice, I knew I had to get some running boards/side steps asap. Price was a concern. I came across these. The price was right, and solid reviews, so I went ahead and bought them. Because of my back I had to have them professionally installed, which only took about an hour. My mechanic was very impressed with the quality for the cost, and said he would absolutely recommend them to other people. I may not be a mechanic, but I absolutely agree! Getting in Dorothy is so much easier now. The step has solid tread so I don’t worry about slipping there, and snow and ice brushes off easily. Not to mention, they look really sharp!! (I’ll be adding a photo later.) I’m SO happy with this purchase, and thankful I didn’t feel the need to buy something more expensive to fit my needs. Cost, function, aesthetics…these are everything I was looking for and then some 🙂
Great product. Easy install. Just have to be careful in positioning the brake line on driver’s side, but instructions mention it. Came with a scratch/chip in the finish on the edge of one rail, but not something that can’t be easily patched. Very wide, but great as it allows for your whole foot to get up without getting stuck under the body.
These really make my truck stand out and makes it a lot easier to get in and out of the truck! Even though my OEM step bar brackets were extremely rusted and I had to have my dad use a grinding wheel to cut the bolts off, installing these new bars was quick and easy.
